A preorder is an item that is not yet in stock but is available for purchase in advance. By placing a preorder, you acknowledge that the item will ship at a later date.

In the product description
In the preorder notice or widget at checkout
Shipping timelines are estimates and may change due to production, carrier delays, or unforeseen circumstances.
Shipping Timeframes
Each preorder product will clearly state its estimated shipping timeframe, such as:
“Ships approximately 3–4 weeks after ordering”
“Estimated to ship by the end of January”
Expedited shipping does not speed up preorder fulfillment. Expedited shipping only applies after the order has shipped.
Payment
Preorders may require:
Full payment at checkout, or
A partial deposit with the remaining balance charged when the item ships
Payment terms are shown at checkout and agreed to at the time of purchase.
Cancellations & Refunds
All preorder sales are final.
Because inventory is reserved specifically for preorder customers:
Preorderscannot be canceled
Preorders are non-refundable
Preorders cannot be exchanged for a different product or design once production has begun
Please review all product details carefully before placing a preorder.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for entering a correct and complete shipping address at checkout.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect address:
The customer is responsible for additional shipping costs, or
The original shipping cost will be deducted from any approved refund (if applicable)
Delays
While we do our best to meet estimated ship dates, delays may occur. Delays are not grounds for cancellation or refunds.
We will provide updates via email and/or our Preorder Status page when applicable.
Acknowledgment
By placing a preorder, you confirm that you:
Understand the item is a preorder
Agree to the estimated shipping timeframe
Accept that shipping dates are estimates
Agree to our Preorder Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy
You’ll receive a tracking number once your order is packed and a shipping label is created. After the label is printed, it can take up to
24–48 hours for the carrier to show the first scan/update. Some packages won’t show movement until the carrier completes the first physical scan
(pickup or drop-off).
Can I cancel my order?
Yes — you can cancel anytime before your order ships. Email us with your order number and we’ll take care of it.
What are GoodNotes and Penly?
They’re planner apps used to write on digital PDFs with a stylus.
GoodNotes is most common on Apple (iPad/iPhone), and it’s also available on some Android tablets. Penly is one of the most compatible options for Android tablets/phones.
These apps are not free, and purchasing a Papers Planners digital file does not include the app subscription/purchase.
What do you mean by “hyperlinked” on the digital planner?
“Hyperlinked” means the pages have tap-able tabs/buttons (like a website). Tap to jump between months, sections, and pages instantly — no endless scrolling.
Our Legacy Budget Planners are scheduled to arrive at our warehouse on January 12 🎉
Once they arrive, we’ll begin packing and shipping orders in the order they were placed. Tracking emails will be sent automatically as labels are created.
